Amirpasha Emami Eliminated in 5th Place ($164,750)
Level 41
: Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Amirpasha Emami raised to 6,000,000 from under the gun, leaving behind only a single blue 100,000 chip. Pierre Shum made the call in the big blind.
The flop came 8♠8♥4♥. Shum moved all in and Emami called to put himself at risk.
Amirpasha Emami: K♣3♥
Pierre Shum: A♥7♥
Emami was in rough shape, needing to hit a king or a three while avoiding any hearts to extend his tournament life. The 9♥ turn left him drawing dead, the A♦ river was inconsequential and Emami was sent to the rail while Shum dragged in another pot.
