Leonard August Eliminated in 2nd Place ($128,835)
Level 32
: Limits 300,000/600,000, 70,000 ante
Limit Hold 'Em
Leonard August raised his button and Ryan Miller called from the big blind. Both players checked the 8♣2♥4♥ flop before Miller led out on the 6♠ turn. August swiftly folded, leaving himself less than one big bet behind.
The next hand, Miller raised from the button to put August all-in and August put in the rest of his chips from the big blind.
Leonard August: 7♠2♠
Ryan Miller: J♦2♦
Miller immediately flopped top pair on 3♣J♠10♣, but the 7♦ turn made it so August still had a shot at victory. However, the A♣ river sealed his fate, and he would take second place in the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E for $128,835.
