Raising War Preflop

Level 12 : Blinds 0/0, 2,500 ante

The action folded to Dong Chen in the cutoff who opened for 20,000 and Nobuaki Sasaki three-bet to 65,000 on the button. Chen clicked it back with a four-bet to 275,000 and Sasaki took some time before five-bet jamming for 508,000.

Chen went deep in the tank, but after using several time bank cards, eventually folded and the pot was sent to Sasaki without a flop.

Brewer Hits Flush To Send Hellmuth Out

Level 11 : Blinds 0/0, 2,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

All the chips were in the middle on a flop showing K87, between Chris Brewer and Phil Hellmuth, who was the player at risk for his roughly 60,000.

Phil Hellmuth: KQ
Chris Brewer: 109

Hellmuth out-flopped Brewer with top pair but would need to dodge the many outs for Brewer. The turn came the K to improve Hellmuth to trips, however when the river fell the J, it was the flush for Brewer that hit to send Hellmuth to the exit.

Chen Four-Bets Sasaki

Level 11 : Blinds 0/0, 2,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth opened to 8,000 from middle position with 60,000 behind and was then three-bet by Nobuaki Sasaki in the cutoff to 26,000.

The action was then on Dong Chen on the button who thought about it for a second before putting in the four-bet to 75,000.

Hellmuth quickly folded and Sasaki went briefly into the tank but eventually decided to let it go and the pot was pushed over to Chen to increase his already impressive stack to 810,000.

Friedman Shoves On Zamani

Level 11 : Blinds 0/0, 2,000 ante

After a few players limped, Martin Zamani opened to a large sizing of 26,000 and the action was then on Adam Friedman.

"Well, I'm just gonna go all in," Friedman announced as he set his stack across the line, which got a round of quick folds, even from Zamani.

"Yeah... One of us was gambling," Zamani laughed as he tossed in his cards to award Friedman a nice pickup.

Badziakouski Takes the Betting Lead

Level 11 : Blinds 0/0, 2,000 ante

Ivan Ermin limped in from middle position and Mikita Badziakouski checked his option on the button.

The flop of K7Q checked through to the 8 on the turn. Ermin bet out for 6,000 and Badziakouski called.

The A river saw Ermin now check. Badziakouski took over the betting lead and fired 15,000 into the middle; enough to earn a fold from Ermin.

All the chips hit the middle preflop between Martin Zamani and Keith Lehr, who was the player at risk for his last 27,500 total.

Martin Zamani: AA
Keith Lehr: KK

It was the ultimate cooler for Lehr to run into the aces for Zamani, and when the board ran out 1010986, it was the rockets that held up to send Lehr to the rail.

Felipe Ramos: KQ
Mikita Badziakouski: J10

The runout came A876K for Ramos to win with a pair of kings and was awarded the pot for a double-up.
