Both players checked on the 5♥2♦6♠ flop and then Gold led out for 2,000 on the 7♥ turn. Vialla de Soleyrol called.
The 8♣ completed the board and Gold checked — prompting a 6,200 bet from Vialla de Soleyrol and sending Gold deep into the tank.
"All I have is a deuce I might call you," Gold said.
Gold did eventually put in a call and Vialla de Soleyrol tabled A♥Q♥ for a busted flush draw. Gold had Q♦2♠ for a pair of deuces as advertised and collected the pot.
