Matakis Gets Thin Value On River
Level 1
: Blinds 50/100, 10 ante
Shawn "Shadysteem" Stroke opened to 255 on the button and only Ian "IanMa" Matakis made the call from the big blind.
The flop came J♥9♠3♠ and both players checked their options to the 3♦, where again action checked through.
The 8♠ hit the river and Matakis led out for 434 and was snap called by Stroke. Matakis tabled A♣9♣ for second pair and scooped the pot when Stroke's hand hit the muck.
