Marquez Makes the Right Fold
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
A player from early position raised to 1,800 and the cutoff three-bet to 5,200. Anthony Marquez then cold four-bet to 14,000 from the small blind and only the cutoff called.
The flop fell K♥6♦9♥ which saw Marquez lead out for 6,500 and he was quickly raised to 25,000 by the cutoff. After a lot of deliberation, Marquez made the fold.
Marquez felt a sense of relief after the cutoff tabled K♣K♦ for top set and awarded himself a pat on the back after claiming that he folded pocket queens.
