Stacey Wins With Three Cards
Level 2
: Limits 300/600, 0 ante
Patrick Stacey raised in the cutoff and a player three-bet on the button which Stacey called.
Stacey drew two on the first draw with the button drawing one. The first betting round saw Stacey check-call a bet from his opponent.
Both players drew two on the following draw, eliciting a chuckle from Stacey, who took the betting lead and his opponent called.
On the third draw, both players drew one with the river checking through. Stacey turned over A♦3♥4♠ then an 8♠, but three cards were good enough for him to take down the pot.
