Sigurdsson Picks Off Bluff
Level 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
A large pot was brewing on the river with roughly 700,000 in the pot and the board reading 2♣4♠10♦8♣Q♦. Action picked up with Andrew Whitaker all in and Leo Sigurdsson, who was at risk, faced with a tough decision.
After some thought, Sigurdsson flicked in the call for his last 575,000 and tabled J♠10♠, for a pair of tens. He got the good news when Whitaker turned over A♣5♣, for ace-high, having missed both straight and flush draws.
