Kusumowidagdo Scores a Double Knockout

Level 12 : Limits 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with Michael Reed all in on a 494 board, when Ray Henson bet from the cutoff, and was raised all in for his last 10,000 chips by Justin Kusumowidagdo. Henson made the call, and the hands were on their back.

Michael Reed: 66 All in
Ray Henson: AK All in
Justin Kusumowidagdo: 1010

Reed needed to spike a six and Henson would need an ace or king to stay alive. But when the board ran out 5 on the turn and J on the river Kusumowidagdo was able to eliminate both players.

Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh opened from early position before Ernest Bush three-bet one seat over. Action folded back around to Arieh who called.

Arieh check-called a bet from Bush on the 3J4 flop.

Bush moved all in for his last few chips after the turn came Q and Arieh did not hesitate to put his opponent at risk.

Ernest Bush: A2All in
Josh Arieh: A10

Bush was in rough shape and found no help on the 7 river to bring his tournament to a close short of the money while Arieh added to what was already one of the largest stacks in the room.

Ho Misses Her Straight

Level 12 : Limits 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Anson Tsang raised on the button and was called by Maria Ho in the small blind, and Matt Woodword in the big blind.

The flop came 3JK. When it checked to Tsang he bet, and was then raised by Ho. Woodward called, then Tsang put in the three-bet. Both Ho and Woodward called to see a turn.

On the turn was the 6 and both Ho and Woodward check-called the bet from Tsang.

The river brought the 5 and all three players checked.

Ho showed first and tabled Qx10x for a busted straight draw, and Tsang showed A5 for a rivered pair of fives. Woodward mucked his hand and was left with only 8,000 chips. Woodward was eliminated from the tournament a few hands later.
