Richards is King of Kings for a Double Up
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
An exciting hand developed when the player in the under the gun position opened for 10,000. The player in middle position then three-bet to 25,000 and PokerNews's Connor Richards four-bet jammed his 26,200 stack. The under the gun player was then all in for 25,000 and middle position made the call.
When the hands were turned over under the gun had Q♠Q♥
, middle position had Q♣Q♦, and Richards had K♥K♣.
The board ran out J♦2♥4♥ 4♠ 9♦ and Ricahrds's hand held for a much-needed double up.
