Abes Extracts Value With a Staight

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Greg Abes opened to 3,200 from the middle position and found calls from the button and the small blind.

The three players saw the dealer fan out a connected flop of 8910. After the small blind checked, Abes put out a continuation bet of 3,500 which was only called by the button.

Abes continued the aggression on the J turn by firing out 11,000. The button called again and they headed to the river.

When the board-pairing 10 came on the river, Abes fired the third and final bullet of 15,000. After some thinking the button made the call. Abes flipped over AQ for a straight to take down a substantial pot and move over the 100,000 chip mark.
