Farrell Chipping Back Up
Level 3
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Niall Farrell raised to 5,000 from the cutoff and was called by the button and Ariel Mantel in the big blind. The flop fell 6♥10♦7♠ and was checked to the button.
He fired a bet of 6,000 and was called by both Mantel and Farrell. Mantel checked again on the 9♠ turn, but Farrell decided to lead out for 8,000. The button raised to 22,000 and Farell called after Mantel had folded.
The A♣ river was then checked down, after which Farrell tabled 8♠8♦ for a straight. It was the winning hand, as the button mucked his cards. As a result, Farrell raked in the pot and was back to a six-figure stack.
