Benton Hits the River to Double Up
Level 30
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
George Tomescu in the hijack opened to 325,000, then Evan Benton in the small blind three-bet all in for 1,335,000. Tomescu asked for the count and called.
Evan Benton: A♠Q♥
George Tomescu: K♥10♥
Tomescu flopped a pair on 10♦2♣3♣, and the 9♠ turn changed nothing, but Benton was lucky enough to hit the A♣ river to double up.
