Blom Folds Two Pair on the River

Jesse Lonis raised to 450,000 from the hijack with A♠7♣ and Viktor Blom called out of the big blind with 8♦5♦.

The flop came 5♣2♦8♠ and after Blom checked, Lonis fired a bet of 325,000. Blom quickly called.

A 6♣ hit the turn which was checked through to the 4♣ river. Blom checked, Lonis bet 1,250,000 with his straight, and Blom folded his two pair.

On the 2♦10♥6♥ flop, Aido checked and Blom put out a continuation bet of 400,000. Aido made the call.

The 10♠ turn got a check from Aido. Blom chose to bet 850,000 and Aido elected to fold his hand.

They saw a flop of 6♥Q♦J♥ which Blom checked, and Aido checked back.

An 8♦ fell on the turn which saw Blom check again, and Aido bet 4,400,000. Blom gave it some thought before he laid it down.
