Schwecht Collects Some of Barbero's Chips

A full board of 6292K was showing and with 40,000 chips in the pot, Nacho Barbero bet 21,000. Tobias Schwecht was in the next seat who called, and the big blind folded.

Barbero tabled 33 but Schwecht had the winner with a pair of nines holding 97.

Klein Makes Benitez Fold

Francisco Benitez opened to 6,000 from the button and he was called by Morten Klein who defended from the big blind.

On a flop of A38, Benitez continued for 5,000, but Klein didn't back down and called.

After they both checked the 7 turn, Klein bet 11,500 on the 6 river, prompting Benitez to fold.

Kornuth Chops One Up

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Chance Kornuth in middle position was involved in a hand with an opponent from under the gun.

With the board reading J29109 and around 90,000 already in the pot, the under the gun player led out for 66,500. Kornuth burned through a time extension before announcing all in, covering his opponent, who had roughly 140,000 behind. The under the gun player went deep into the tank, also using a time extension before eventually making the call holding KQ.

Kornuth turned over KQ and the two players chopped up the pot with the identical straight.

Brandon on Brandon Violence Leaves Steven Empty Handed

Kulev Forces the Fold on the Turn

Joey Weissman opened 5,500 under the gun and only Alex Kulev called from a couple of spots to his left.

The dealer spread a flop of 933 and Weissman check-called a bet of 5,500 from Kulev.

When the 7 hit the turn, Weissman checked once again before Kulev flung 35,500 across the line. This time Weissman surrendered the pot as his cards hit the muck.

Klein Snap-Folds River to Negreanu's Bet

Bill Klein raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 15,000 on the button. The blinds folded but Klein called.

A flop of 1088 saw Klein check-call a bet of 10,000 from Negreanu.

The turn brought a 3 and again Klein went into check-call mode after Negreanu fired 28,000.

A third check-call wasn't on the agenda as Klein check-folded the A river when Negreanu bet 75,000.

Jorstad Three-Bets on the River

Three players checked all the way through a board of J10J6 to find the 9 river.

The big blind checked and Espen Jorstad under the gun bet 6,000. James Chen to his left raised to 20,000 and made the big blind fold, but Jorstad three-bet to 140,000.

Chen went into the tank, and eventually sent his cards into the muck.

Kulev Four-Bets

Alex Kulev opened the cutoff to 6,000 and was three-bet by the big blind to 25,000. Kulev then asked for a count of the big blind's stack and upon realizing the number, he four-bet to 55,000. The big blind snap-folded.

Danchev Leaves Peters Short

Picking up the action on the turn, David Peters in early position was involved in a hand with Dimitar Danchev on the button.

With the board reading 87K2 Peters bet out 30,000. Danchev called to send action to the river.

The 9 river completed the board. Peters did not slow down, instead pushing 75,000 across the felt. Danchev responded by raising to 250,000, leaving himself just 13,000 behind. It did not take long for Peters to call, but he mucked after Danchev flipped over A2 to send a huge pot the Bulgarian pro's way while leaving Peters short.
