2024 World Series of Poker
Punnat Punsri made it 40,000 from the hijack and Lander Lijo three-bet to 110,000 from the cutoff. Once the blinds folded, Punsri made the call
The A♦Q♣A♣ flop saw Punsri check-call a bet of 30,000 from Lijo.
Punsri went into check-call mode again on the 7♦ turn when Lijo fired 70,000.
A board-pairing 7♠ completed the runout and after Punsri checked, Lijo bet enough to put him all in. Punsri had a little over 250,000 chips in his stack but didn't need to think as he snap-folded to the bet of Lijo.
Action picked up on the flop in hand between Artur Martirosian, in middle position and Aleksejs Ponakovs, in the cutoff.
With about 260,000 in the pot and the board reading 10♥J♦9♦, both players checked the flop.
On the 2♣ turn, Martirosian bet 160,000. After using a time bank card, Ponakovs eventually tossed his cards into the muck.
Danny Tang opened from early position to 40,000 and Mikita Badziakouski called out of the small blind.
The pair saw a monotone flop of 7♠5♠8♠ which Badziakouski checked, Tang bet 30,000, and Badziakouski called.
An A♣ fell on the turn and Badziakouski checked again, and was faced with an 85,000-chip bet from Tang. This time, Badziakouski folded.
Sergio Aido raised to 40,000 from early position and Samuel Ju called from the small blind.
The flop came K♥5♦10♥, and Ju check-called a bet of 60,000. The 4♣ turn went check-check.
On the 4♥ river, Ju checked again and Aido put out a bet of 175,000. After a moment of thought, Ju flicked in the call and mucked his cards when Aido turned over K♠J♦, for two pair, kings and fours.

A full board of 5♣9♠10♦J♥A♥ was showing on board and with around 200,000 chips in the pot, Eric Wasserson had bet pot on the river. Yulian Bogdanov was the man with the decision and he eventually let his hand go.
Brekstyn Schutten shoved for approximately 300,000 first-to-act and action folded around to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the big blind, who called to put Schutten at risk.
Brekstn Schutten: 9♥9♣
Aleksejs Ponakovs: Q♦Q♠
Schutten would need some help, but the 4♦3♣4♥7♥8♥ runout kept Ponakovs best with his queens and Schutten was eliminated.
