Lawrence Brandt raised on the button and Dave Stann defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out the A♥2♦6♣ flop, where Stann check-called a continuation bet from Brandt.
Another check from Stann followed the 4♥ turn, once again calling when Brandt bet. The K♦ river saw one last check from Stann, making another call after Brandt fired again.
Brandt showed A♠3♠ for top pair, but Stann turned over A♦9♥ for top pair with a better kicker to take down the pot.
