Spencer Bets Thinly

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 7,000 in the hijack and was called by Lewis Spencer in the big blind. Haxton then continued for 15,000 on the QK10 flop and Spencer check-called.

On the 6 turn, both players checked before Spencer threw in 12,000 on the 7 river.

Haxton weighed his options for a bit but eventually tossed in a call. Spencer tabled K7 for two pair and raked in the pot when Haxton mucked his cards.

"You had a thin-value-betting face on," tablemate Daniel Negreanu told Spencer.

"What gave it away? The fact that I bet 25 percent of the pot?" Spencer asked rhetorically.
