Defending Champion Left With Crumbs as Rast Doubles Up
Level 14
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Brian Rast jammed his fresh stack of 600,000 in from the hijack and was called by fellow late registrant [Removed:564] in the small blind, who had won some chips in the previous hand.
Brian Rast: A♣J♦
[Removed:564]: K♦Q♠
The J♥10♥8♠ flop paired Rast, but gave [Removed:565] a straight draw. The 2♣ turn did not bring it, however, and the 8♣ river paired the board to give Rast his double-up and leave [Removed:565] with less then one big blind.
