Weisner Makes a Set
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Melanie Weisner opened 6,000 in the cutoff and Jose Ferreira called on the button, as did both of the blinds.
All four players checked to the 8♣2♠3♣K♣ turn, where the small blind dropped a bet of 12,000 across the line. Only Weisner called.
When the Q♦ completed the board on the river, both players tapped the table. The small blind tabled A♠K♦J♠6♥ and Weisner took down the pot with a set as she showed K♥K♠7♦4♥.
