Kent Forces Ferreira Off of a Straight

Jose Ferreira opened 19,000 on the button and Kevin Kent defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of K108 and Kent check-called a bet of 15,000.

When the J hit the turn, Kent checked once again before Ferreira fired 30,000 across the line. Kent responded with a check-raise for the maximum of 169,000. Ferreira went into the tank for a little over a minute before folding and showing the 97 for a straight. Kent proudly tabled AA76 as he pulled in the pot.
