Wang Makes a Tight Fold

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Grant Wang limped in from the small blind and Bohdan Demianenko checked in the big blind.

Both players checked the 42J flop leading to the 9 turn. Wang checked, Demianenko bet 80,000 and Wang called.

Wang checked again n the 7 river and Demianenko bet 175,000.

"Tight fold" Wang commented after a couple minutes of weighing his options. Shortly afterwards his cards hit the muck and Demianenko took the pot without showdown.

Prociak Surges into the Chip Lead

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a flop of 3Q5 David Prociak bet 70,000 and David Kim called out of the big blind.

Both players checked the 3 turn to see the J come on the river. After Kim checked, Pociak fired out a pot-sized bet of 400,000. This sent Kim deep into the tank, so much so that another player called the clock on him. In the end he decided to call. Prociak showed AK43 to take down the pot with trips.

No Showdown for Firova

Konstantinos Tsikopoulos opened 90,000 on the button and Joe Firova came along from the small blind.

The dealer spread a flop of 1094 and Firova check-called a bet of 130,000.

The K turn was checked through to see the 3 on the river. Firova led for 225,000 and that was enough to earn the pot as Tsikopoulos mucked his hand.

Demianenko Finds New Life

Bohdan Demianenko was in late position when he opened for 140,000. The player in the small blind called then Jay Harwood three-bet to 420,000 from the big blind. Demianenko then four-bet all in for the remainder of his stack. The small blind folded and Harwood made the call.

When Harwood turned over his hand Demianenko winced. The dealer quickly dealt 4A8K6 to give Demianenko the win with two pair.

The flop came 942. Scates checked, Taylor bet 350,000 and Scates mucked.

Ochana Flops a Set and Scores a Double

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Moses Saquing limped in the hijack and Bohdan Demianenko raised to 180,000 on the button. Eddie Ochana raised the maximum of 560,000 from the big blind, forcing Saquing out while Demianenko made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of AK6 and Ochana shoved his last 255,000 across the line. Demianenko thought about it for a couple of seconds before making the call.

Ochana flopped a set of kings and was able to hold as the board completed with the 9 on the turn and the 4 on the river.

Maynard Moves Up the Leaderboard

Brandon Ageloff raised to 80,000 under the gun and Michelle Maynard defended from the big blind.

Maynard checked to Ageloff on the 582 flop and he bet 60,000. This was met by a check-raise to 160,000 by Maynard. Ageloff folded his hand and Maynard pulled in the pot.

Hyde Drags it on the Turn

Kevin Hyde opened 120,000 in the hijack and Bohdan Demianenko defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of AK6 and both players quickly checked.

When the 8 hit the turn, Demianenko checked once again before Hyde flung 150,000 across the line. After a couple of moments, Demianenko mucked his hand.

Both players checked the 37K flop to see the A come on the turn. This time, Vitch checked-called Taylor's bet of 150,000.

On the K river, Vitch check-called a bet of 350,000 from Taylow. Vitch flipped over Kx9x8x3x to take down the pot.
