Riess Finds a Double

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ryan Riess raised from early position to 2,100, and was called by a player in middle position, and both the small and big blind.

The flop came 4J7 and when the blinds checked to Riess, he bet 4,000. Both the player in middle position and the small blind folded. But the big blind raised the bet to put Riess all in for 24,300. Reiss made the call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Ryan Riess: AJ All in
Big Blind: K7

Riess was ahead with his top pair top kicker against the pair of sevens from the big blind.

The board ran out 10 on the turn and 3 on the river which did not improve the big blinds hand, securing the double up for Riess.
