Action was on Gianluca Cedolia, who put in a big river all-in bet, good for 107,500. His opponent in the hand, Hermilo Garza Villareal, had the bet covered.

Villareal thought for a long time, but ultimately decided to fold, and the table chip lead went to Cedolia.

Kassin Finds Value on River

The flop came J43 and after the big blind checked, Sammartino bet out 3,500. Kassin made the call, and the big blind folded.

The 9 on the river completed the board, and Sammartino bet out 4,500. Kassin then chose to raise to 10,700. Sammartino flicked in a chip to call, and Kassin showed him AJ for top pair, top kicker. Sammartino threw his hand in the muck to give Kassin the pot.
