Cross had them both covered and went deep into the tank as he checked his holding a few times before reluctantly releasing it.

Martirosian Sent to the Rail

When action folded to Zdenek Zizka in the hijack he raised to 25,000 and was called by Artur Martirosian in the big blind.

The flop came 4910 and Martirosian checked to Zizka, who bet out 15,000. Martirosian then raised all in for 110,000, and Zizka quickly made the call.

Martirosian flopped a pair and a flush draw but was behind the kings of Zizka. The 4 turn was no help as it eliminated Martirosian's two pair outs. The river brought one of those outs in the form of the 5 but Zizka's two pair of kings and fours was best and eliminated Martirosian from the tournament.

Carden Scores Another Elimination

According to the players, action started with Jin Kim opening from the cutoff. Marco Johnson had a stack of around 180,000 and went all in on the button. Joseph Carden was in the small blind and re-shoved. Kim folded.

The flop Q8J gave Johnson a queen, but Carden a set and had Johnson drawing very thin.

The turn and river were 9 and Q respectively, Johnson made trip queens but was still sent to the rail.

This continues an excellent start of Day 2 for Carden, who started the day with just 157,000 chips or around 15 big blinds, but has won three all-in pots, including a three-way all in shortly before this hand. He has now climbed up to over 900,000 or 75 big blinds.
