Lijo and Carden Switch Roles

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Joseph Carden raised to 100,000 from early position. When it folded to Lander Lijo in the cutoff, he three-bet all in for 540,000. It folded back to Carden, and he made the call.

Lander Lijo: AQ All in
Joseph Carden: AJ

Earlier in the level it was Carden all in and at risk with ace-queen versus the ace-jack of Lijo. But now the roles are reversed, but the result are still the same as the ace queen remained the best hand on the 710356 board, to give Lijo the double up.

Pateychuk Sent to the Showers After Brutal River

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Stanislav Barshak opened all in for 285,000 from under the gun. It folded to the small blind Neil Warren who called, before the big bland Andrey Pateychuk three-bet all in for 1,200,000. Warren eventually made the call, saying "lets run it" putting Barshak and Pateychuk at risk.

Stanislav Barshak: A9 All in
Andrey Pateychuk: KK All in
Neil Warren: 77

Pateychuk was in a great position with his pocket kings, but things got interesting after the 548 flop, giving Barshak a flush draw, and Warren a straight draw.

The turn was a safe one for Pateychuk when the 2 came, but the river was a disaster as the 6 completed the board. The six gave Barshak the ace high flush to take the side pot and triple up. But even worse for Pateychuk, Warren improved to a straight to take down the kings to win a large sidepot, and eliminate him from the tournament.

Massive Pot Goes to Hoy

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On the turn, Hoy bet 300,000. Barshak thought and then called.

The river was the K. Hoy now shoved all in, which was for 995,000 and Barshak did not take much time to call.

Jamasi First to Fall After Dinner

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Farhad Jamasi moved all in preflop, Neil Warren jammed for more and everyone else folded.

Farhad Jamasi: A9 All in
Neil Warren: 88

The dealer asked Jamasi to pick his speed as he dealt out 8J6 making it look like it would be a quick end for Jamasi. The K turn ended any chance of runner runner flush to make the 3 river meaningless and Jamasi was sent away.
