Quiontus Griffin got the level off to a terrible start but things went from bad to worse after he shoved all in from the small blind and got snap-called by Prescott Hathaway in the big blind.

The J♠9♦7♠ flop was safe for Griffin but an A♦ on the turn propelled Hathaway into the lead. Only a ten or an eight would save Griffin from elimination but the K♠ river improved Hathaway to two pair and earned him the pot.
