Yang's River Bluff Doesn't Go to Plan

There were around 16,000 chips in the pot on a board of A9J34 when Chongxian Yang checked. David Brehme then bet 6,800, and Yang check-raised to 25,000. It took some time for Brehme to make a decision but he eventually tossed in a call.

Yang tabled 66 but Brehme had the winner with KK.

Rezaei Clicks the Turn

The hijack opened and Daniel Rezaei defended his big blind.

They saw a flop of 223 where Rezaei check-called a bet of 3,000.

An A fell on the turn and after Rezaei checked, the hijack bet 7,500. Rezaei then raised to 16,000, and the hijack folded.

Wang Gets Value from LIghtbourne

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With two playrrs seeing a board of 76JQ and about 16,000 in the middle, Iaron LIghtbourne bet 6,500 from the big blind and Stanley Wang called from the hijack.

On the 8 river Lightbourne bet 8,000 only for Wang to raise it to 24,500. Lightbourne made the call.

Wang tabled QJ for top two pair and Lightbourne's hand hit the muck.

Tayar Hangs On

The hijack opened the action with a raise to 2,400. Khalifa Tayar three-bet to 6,100 from the cutoff and the hijack made the call.

Tayar continued for 3,400 on QQ2 before the hijack raised to 8,000. Tayar called in position.

The hijack bet 6,000 on the 5 turn and Tayar called once more.

Action went check-check on the 7 river and Tayar tabled 88 for the winner. His opponent showed 44 before mucking.

Iermolcheva Loses a Flip

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paul Zappulla raised to 2,200 and Olga Iermolcheva three-bet to 6,600. The big blind cold four-bet to 13,000. This got a fold from Zappulla, but Iermolcheva chose to five-bet shove for the big blind remaining 45,000. the big blind player called.

Sotiropoulos Doubles

Georgios Sotiropoulos opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 2,200. The cutoff called before the button three-bet to 9,000. Sotiropoulos four-bet jammed his 56,600-chip stack into the middle and the button made the call.

Eveslage Getting Short

Kyungtae Min opened to 2,200 from the cutoff and received calls from Chad Eveslage on the button and a player in the big blind.

The flop came K98 and action checked around to Eveslage who bet 2,000. The big blind folded while Min made the call.

Min check-called another bet from Eveslage for 8,000 on the 4 turn. Both players then checked the J river. Min tabled J9 for two pair and Eveslage mucked.

Schwartz Chips Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of K7K, the hijack bet 1,500 and Joe McKeehen called from the small blind. Jake Schwartz then raised to 5,500. The hijack then three-bet to 13,500 which got a quick fold from McKeehen. Schwartz didn't act so quickly though, and opted to make the call.

Schwartz check-called a bet of 4,500 on the 7 turn to see the 7 fall on the river. Schwartz checked again and his opponent quickly checked back. Schwartz flipped over K10 for the best hand to win the pot.
