Broom tabled 3♥2♥ for a flush, but Madeira had A♥9♥ for the nut flush to take the pot.
The last of Clemen Deng's stack was in the middle from the big blind as he was up against Turbo Nguyen.

Wagner Ripper raised to 60,000 from the cutoff, James Broom ripped it in for 285,000 from the button, and Ripper called when it was back on him after considering it for about a minute.

The board ran out Q♥2♦7♥5♦9♥ to give Broom a big time double while Ripper was left short stacked.

Georgrios Sotiropoulos raised to 60,000 from the hijack and Jamie Dwan shipped all in for almost 500,000 on the button. Once the blinds folded, Sotiropoulos made the call.

The flop of A♠7♣2♣ didn't offer much help to Dwan and the K♦ turn meant he was drawing to just two outs. Neither of those outs appeared on the river as the 5♠ completed the board which meant Dwan was eliminated.
Ilia Drobin was all in preflop in a coin flip situation.

The flop came 7♥3♣6♦. The turn was the K♦ to bring in a flush draw for Nguyen and the river came down the 8♦ to hit the flush and bust Drobin who took a few moments to realize the flush had come in before he headed to payouts.
Yuzhu Wang raised from the hijack to 55,000 before being three-bet by Georgios Sotiropoulos to 125,000. It folded back to Wang who four-bet all in for 510,000. Sotiropoulos quickly made the call to put Wang at risk.

Wang was ahead with his pocket sevens, but when the board ran out A♦J♦6♠4♠2♣ it improved Sotiropoulos to a pair of aces, eliminating Wang from the tournament.
On a flop of K♥10♥9♠, David Coleman had checked to Wagner Ripper, who bet 65,000 into the 200,000-chip pot. Pedro Madeira called, then Coleman shoved all in for 490,000. Ripper folded, but Madeira called.

Coleman had flopped a flush draw and a gutshot but Madeira was in the lead with his two pair.
The A♣ turned changed nothing, and neither did the 8♦ river which meant Coleman was eliminated.

The flop came J♦5♣J♣, the turn was the 4♥ to end all hope and the river was the 6♣ as Novick was sent away.
Jason Daly had an action-packed start to the day but it all came to an end just as he started to get a glimmer of hope.
Daly had already doubled up once and shoved all in with Q♠8♠ and got called Tyler Cornell's J♠J♥. A runout of Q♥4♦4♥6♥10♦ saw Daly hit top pair and double up.
The very next hand, Bogdan Munteanu shoved all in from the small blind, and Daly snapped from the big blind.
