Sturm Is Good at Showdown to Claim a Big Pot

Ollie Garland

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The pot had already swelled to approximately 1,300,000 with two players looking at a full board of K♣8♠3♠3♥A♣.

Adrian Mateos, in the small blind, checked the action to Leon Sturm, in the hijack. Sturm thought on his decision before checking back.

Mateos tabled 9♥9♠, while Sturm had the pot shipped his way when he rolled over K♦Q♠ for second pair.
