Mateos Chips Down
Level 19
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Adrian Mateos raised to 600,000 from the hijack with K♥Q♦, finding Ben Tollerene, in the big blind, who called with Q♣10♥.
The 8♣8♦Q♥ flop gave both players top pair. Tollerene check-called a bet of 400,000 from Mateos.
The 9♥ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Mateos sized up to 1,800,000.
The J♥ river checked to a showdown. Tollerene tabled his hand having rivered a straight, besting the top pair of Mateos and sending the pot his way.
