Ziff Knocks Out Davis

Level 14 : Limits 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Lamont Davis opened from the button and Clifford Ziff called from the small blind. Both players drew one.

After the first draw, Ziff bet, Davis raised, committing the rest of his chips in the process, and Ziff called with a covering stack to put Davis at risk. Ziff stood pat for both draws while Davis drew one both times.

Lamont Davis: 42A All in
Clifford Ziff: J52A

Davis needed to catch a jack or smaller club to pull ahead of Ziff's jack-badugi but found no help when the final card gave him a 10 for a three-card four. Davis made his exit from the tournament area while Ziff claimed the last of his chips.

Filippi Pips Chiu

Level 14 : Limits 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
