Yam Jams Into a Six, Wen Also Went

A-5 Triple Draw

Ryan Ko raised his button, Edward Yam three-bet all in from the small blind for 65,000, and Yuebin Guo called in the big blind. Ko also put in the extra chips, after which Yam stood pat.

Guo drew two and Ko drew one, after which they both checked. Yam remained pat, seeing his opponents draw one card each on the second draw.

They checked once more before the same drawing sequence happened on the final draw. Guo and Ko checked it down on more time, and Yam showed 8x6x5x3xAx.

It was no good however, as Guo tabled 6x5x4x3x2x for a six-low, beating the Kx6x3x2xAx of Ko as well.

On another table former chipleader Xiaofei Wen also said his goodbyes.

Deeb Deals Mortal Blow to Adams

Level 21 : Limits 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Shaun Deeb opened from the cutoff and Christopher Adams three-bet from the big blind. Deeb made the call and Drew one while Adams drew two.

After the first draw Adams check-called a bet from Deeb. Both players drew one.

Adams bet after the second draw and Deeb called. Once again both players took one.

With no draws remaining Adams bet and Deeb called.

"Pair" Adams stated. Deeb then tabled a nine with 9x8x7x3x2x to take down a sizable pot.

Adams was left short-stacked after the hand and busted out not long afterwards.

Wolff Leaves Po With Crumbs

A-5 Triple Draw

George Wolff opened from under the gun and received calls from Kenneth Po on the button and Christopher Adams in the big blind. Adams drew two, Wolff drew one and Po drew two. All three players then checked. For the second draw Adams took two while the other two players each drew one.

After the second draw Adams checked, Wolff bet, Po called and Adams folded. Wolff stood pat and bet while Po drew one and went deep into the tank. Both Wolff and Po had started the hand with 100,000 and had exactly 20,000 behind.

After a few minutes the clock was called and shortly afterwards Po opted to fold, leaving himself with just half of a big bet while Wolff took the pot.

Po couldn't recover and was eliminated shortly afterwards. Elsewhere in the tournament area, Gary Benson was also eliminated.

Johansson Three-Bets

Arriving after the second draw, Mark Fraser checked out of the small blind to Oscar Johansson under the gun. Fraser then raised and Johansson reraised.

Fraser made the call before both players stood pat on the final draw. Fraser check-called a bet from Johansson but forfeited the pot as soon as Johansson tabled 7x5x4x3x2x for the wheel, claiming to have mucked number four.

Ryan Ko raised in the small blind and Edward Yam defended. Ko drew two cards on the first draw and Yam took three. Ko then bet and Yam called, after which ko stood pat.

Yam changed two cards and raised when Ko bet again. Ko then three-bet all in and Yam called.

Ko remained pat, leading Yam to draw one card.

Yam had three outs left, but the deuce did not show itself, with a Jx completing Yam's hand instead.

On another table, 25K Fantasy pick Ryan Hoenig was eliminated from the mixed triple draw.

Shaun Deeb opened from under the gun and Chad Eveslage defended from the big blind. Both players drew two.

After the first draw Eveslage bet and Deeb called, drawing two while Eveslage took one.

Eveslage bet again after the second draw and was called by Deeb. This time both players drew one.

With no draws remaining both players checked. Deeb had ended up with Qx6x4x2xAx while Eveslage had a jack with Jx6x5x2xAx to take the pot.

Wen Chips Up as Turner Busts

Xiaofei Wen raised under the gun and got a call from Oscar Johansson on the button. Ian Chan also called in the big blind, and each player drew two cards.

Chan checked, Wen bet, and Johansson called before Chan drew one card. Wen stood pat, and Johansson also traded in one.

Chan check-folded to Wen's bet after the second draw, but Johansson still called and drew one.

Wen checked his pat hand with no more draws left and Johansson followed suit, mucking his cards when Wen tabled 7x6x4x3x2x.

Meanwhile, Justin Turner was eliminated from an adjacent table.
