McKay Makes a Small Comeback
Level 15
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Susan McKay was on a short stack for quite some time after losing most of her chips in a hand against William Wright, where Wright rivered a pair of kings on the 9♦3♥8♣J♣K♠ board. McKay was left with only 12,000 chips.
But she was able to find her opportunities to come back, including in a hand where she was in the small blind and called an all-in from her opponent in the cutoff.
Cutoff: A♠J♦
Susan McKay: Q♥Q♠
The board ran out low, 8♥10♥6♠9♦4♣, and McKay was able to secure the hand and build up a decent-sized stack.
