Berger Knocks Out Rouge
Level 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Michel Rouge was on the short stack of 47,000 and open-shoved from the middle position. The player on the button called. After some thinking, Fred Berger in the big blind also called.
Rouge was already all in, but Berger and the button checked the 8♦5♣8♣ flop.
The turn was the 10♦. Berger bet 35,000 and the button folded.
Fred Berger: A♦10♠
Michel Rouge: A♠K♥
Berger had turned a pair and Rouge was down to three outs. A king didn’t come and he was eliminated.
