Smith Flops a Straight
Level 43
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 0 ante
Darius Samual reclaimed the lead shortly before the hand, but in this pot, Samual called the 30,000 on the button, and John Smith checked his option.
The flop came 6♣3♥4♥, Smith checked it over to Samual who bet out 30,000. Smith made the call to see a turn.
On the turn was the 10♣, and Smith lead into Samual for 55,000. After using a time extension, Samual did make the call.
To complete the board, the river was the 6♠, and Smith bet 75,000, before being raised by Samual to 225,000. Smith pondered the decision for a few moments before tossing in the chips to call. Samual turned over 9x6x for rivered trips but was disappointed to see Smith flopped a straight with 7x5x, and Smith scooped the 620,000 chip pot, and take back the lead.
