Raymer Makes Use of Out-of-Turn Action

The player in the hijack raised to 400 and Gershon Distenfeld called in the cutoff. Greg Raymer defended his big blind and all players drew one card.

The hijack then bet 800 out of turn, with Raymer's 1,200-chip bet hitting the felt not a second after. The floor was called over and it was ruled that the hijack's bet stood, with Raymer having all options.

He then checked, after which Distenfeld folded. Raymer raised to 2,500 and got a quick fold from his opponent.

Gerhart Bluff-Catches with a Ten

A player in the hijack raised to 300 and the button, Kevin Gerhart in the small blind, and the big blind all came along.

Gerhart drew one, the big blind drew two, the hijack took one, and the button took two.

Gerhart led for 700 and the action folded to the button who put in a small raise to 1,500. Gerhart put in the call and his opponent announced that he was bluffing. Gerhart showed 10x9x7x6x2x which was good enough to drag the pot

Weng stood pat while the button took one. Weng led for 1,500 which prompted a quick fold from his opponent.

Vornicu Check-Raises Succesfully

In the final hand of the previous level, Valentin Vornicu raised to 300 in the hijack and was three-bet to 1,100 by Dario Alioto in the cutoff. Vornicu called and changed one card, as did Alioto.

Vornicu then checked after the draw and his Alioto bet 2,000 chips. Vornicu raised to 7,000 and received a swift call. He tabled 8x7x5x4x2x for an eight-low, and was awarded the pot as Alioto's cards disappeared into the muck.
