Gustilo Turns a Set

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action picked up on the river in a hand between Joseph Gustilo in the big blind and the player in the hijack.

With about 11,500 in the pot and the board reading Q24JA, the hijack checked, and Gustilo fired out a bet of 7,500.

The hijack called and showed AQ for two pair, aces and queens. Gustilo flipped over JJ for a set of jacks, and dragged in the pot.

A Bluff and a Call

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

On a river reading 22346, Faawan Bansay placed a bet of 2,700. Joseph Jozwiak spent some time surveying his opponent before pushing in a raise to 8,200.

Bansay quickly made the call and Jozwiak let out a sigh of disappointment as he tabled the Q10, showing he'd been caught bluffing.

Bansay showed the 98 for a flush and claimed the pot.
