Wasserson Doubles Through Mizrachi

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Michael Mizrachi had raised and earned one caller in Eric Wasserson in the hijack. On the 984 flop, Mizrachi potted and sent Wasserson into a brief tank.

"I will show if you fold," Mizrachi said and Wasserson replied "no, my hand is too strong for that" before he then pushed forward his stack of 161,000. Mizrachi called and they already exposed the cards before turning them back over to wait for all other tables to finish.

When it was time for the showdown, Mizrachi held the best hand but Wasserson had a ton of equity.

Eric Wasserson: 9765 All in
Michael Mizrachi: AAKQ

The 6 turn instantly locked up the double for Wasserson and made the 7 river a formality. Action continues with 125 players remaining and 122 will be in the money.
