Magott Gets Maximum Value

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Krzysztof Magott from under the gun was involved in a hand with Nikita Kuznetsov in the big blind.

With the board reading 646A9 Kuznetsov bet 55,000. Magott responded by moving all in for 125,500. That sent Kuznetsov deep into the tank as he appeared to be considering laying down a big hand. Eventually, the clock was called on Kuznetsov but before the floor person even reached the table, he made the call. "You got aces?" he asked and was indeed shown the bad news by Magott, who tabled AA92 for the turned boat to scoop a full double.

At another table, Phil Hellmuth was seen taking his seat.

Furth Eliminates One

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Caleb Furth and Jonathan Bowers were involved in a side pot on a flop of K4Q, with a third player already all in preflop. Bowers, in the hijack, then checked to Furth on the button, and the latter fired a bet of 30,000.

Furth quickly folded, leaving his opponents to show down.

All-in player: 101094 All in
Caleb Furth: KK64

The all-in player needed to hit a flush or straight to stay alive, but he failed to so as the 37 runout remained harmless for Furth to take the pot.

On another table, Gary Benson had been eliminated from the tournament.

Carmi Among the Latest Casualties

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The seat of Eran Carmi was empty and Filippos Stavrakis recalled that he had taken all of the chips of his table neighbour in two big pots. Stavrakis first hit quads and believed that Carmi was claiming to have had a full house. The second clash was even worse when Stavrakis in the big blind flopped a full house with eight-deuce and improved to eights full of deuces on the river while Carmi had deuces full of aces.
