With two players seeing a board of K♠Q♥7♣ Noah Boeken was all in with a short stack and at risk against Elie Nakache who covered him.
Noah Boeken: A♥10♥9♣8♣
Elie Nakache: A♣10♣Q♦5♠
The rest of the board ran out 4♠Q♠. Nakache was good at showdown with trip queens and he took the pot while Boeken made his exit from the tournament area.
In a hand that started at the end of the last level, Amit Ben Yacov limped the cutoff and Kabeelan Rajamurthy did so on the button. David Benyamine raised to 250,000 in the small blind and picked up two calls.
On the K♦5♦4♦ flop, Benyamine led for just 150,000 and Ben Yacov called, Rajamurthy folded.
They headed to the Q♠ turn on which Benyamine checked and then called for 350,000 when Ben Yacov bet.
Once the 5♣ river paired the board, Benyamine pushed all-in. Ben Yacov went deep into the tank for six minutes. He eventually showed all his four cards before folding, it was the Q♣Q♦3♦3x.
"Can I show you only one card?" Benyamine said and flashed the K♥. He then also exposed the 9♠ as well and the A♠ a few moments later.
"Please don't make me show everyone this card," he said while pointing at the last card. It was never shown but the table talked about the hand for a while, trying to figure out if it was a huge bluff or not.
Adam Lamphere raised the pot from under the gun to 210,000 with 90,000 behind. Vasil Medarov then reraised all-in for more than two times as much and Elie Nakache on the button went over the top. Lamphere called all-in and it was yet another three-way showdown.
Adam Lamphere: J♥J♦4♦3♥
Vasil Medarov: A♥Q♦J♠4♠
Elie Nakache: A♠A♣K♥6♥
The aces took it all on a board of 10♣9♦9♣2♠2♣ to send both shorter stacks to the rail, as Lamphere and Medarov both collected $51,641 for their efforts.
With three players seeing a board of Q♦7♦5♠A♥ and about 650,000 in the middle, Joshua Adkins checked from the small blind and Jonathan Bowers bet 550,000 from the hijack. Manh Nguyen raised to roughly 1,500,000 from the button and both opponents opted to fold allowing Nguyen to take down a nice pot without showdown.
Amit Ben Yacov was able to recover some chips after the previous big laydown against David Benyamine, who then retook chips off Nino Pansier in exchange.
On the K♣6♦5♣6♥7♦ river, Benyamine bet 475,000 in the big blind. Pansier reluctantly called in the hijack and mucked to the 9♣7♣7♠3♦ of Benyamine.
With three players seeing a board of J♠2♦6♦ and about 600,000 in the middle, Jonathan Bowers checked from the small blind, Stephen Chidwick checked from the big blind and Joshua Adkins checked from early position.
All three players checked through the 10♠ turn to see the 5♣ river. Bowers bet 550,000, Chidwick folded and Adkins called.
Adkins tabled 9♣7♣6♠5♦ for two pair and Bowers mucked.
Three ways to the K♠J♣5♣3♦ turn, Elie Nakache bet 80,000 in the small blind and Eelis Pärssinen called in the big blind. Krzysztof Magott folded on the button and they headed to the Q♣ river.
Nakache now sized up to 400,000 and Pärssinen folded.
Stephen Chidwick was all-in for 305,000 out of the big blind with the turn showing Q♥J♥3♠5♥. He was called by Manh Nguyen from under the gun to set up the following showdown.
Stephen Chidwick: A♣8♥7♥6♦
Manh Nguyen: A♦A♥8♣5♦
Chidwick had locked up the double with the flush already to make the 3♥ river a formality.
With two players seeing a board of A♥8♣4♣ and about 600,000 in the middle, Zachary Peay was all in for around 775,000 and up against Jonathan Bowers who covered him.
Zachary Peay: A♦9♦7♥6♥
Jonathan Bowers: A♠10♣8♥2♠
Bowers was ahead with aces and eights and remained so when the rest of the board ran out 7♣2♦ to eliminate Peay and claim the last of his chips.
