There was yet another all-in and call over on table 670 and it once more featured Stephen Chidwick and Manh Nguyen on a flop of Q♥10♣7♦.
Stephen Chidwick: A♠A♥8♦6♣
Manh Nguyen: Q♣J♣10♦5♦
Nguyen was ahead with two pair this time and Chidwick caught no help to bow out in 17th place when the 3♠ turn and K♠ river bricked off. He collected $51,641 for the efforts and the two table redraw will follow shortly.
Heads-up to the K♠K♥7♣ flop, Yuriy Boyko in the big blind bet 75,000. Mandy Calara on the button raised to 250,000 and Boyko called. On the J♣ turn, Boyko checked and Calara bet 500,000. Boyko reluctantly folded and was shown the A♣J♥8♣4♥ by Calara.
In the final hand before the two-table redraw, two players saw a board of K♣10♥3♠ with about 1,300,000 in the middle. Ferenc Deak shoved from the small blind and was called by Elie Nakache who covered him.
Ferenc Deak: A♥A♦J♥8♠
Elie Nakache: Q♦10♠9♥7♠
The rest of the board ran out J♦7♥ giving Nakache a king-high straight to send Deak to the rail and take the pot.
David Benyamine limped in and then called a pot-sized raise by Nino Pansier from one seat over. On the A♥K♦K♠ flop, Benyamine checked and Pansier bet 140,000 to win the pot.
With two players seeing a board of 3♥4♠4♥K♣ and about 750,000 in the middle, Oshri Lahmani bet 350,000 from the small blind and was called by Krzysztof Magott in the big blind.
On the 2♦ river Lahmani down bet to 140,000. Magott moved all in for about 1,000,000 and Lahmani folded after about 30 seconds of contemplation.
David Benyamine raised to 160,000 from under the gun and was called by Joshua Adkins from two seats over, Richard Gryko then called on the button. Three ways to the Q♥8♥6♣ flop, Benyamine checked and Adkins bet 315,000.
Gryko then raised it up to 1,350,000 for Benyamine to instantly fold. Nearly one minute after that, Adkins called and then bet the pot for 3,395,000 on the 4♦ turn. Gryko didn't snap-call but came along reluctantly for around 2.7 million in chips.
Richard Gryko: A♥Q♦Q♣5♠
Joshua Adkins: Q♠J♠10♦8♠
"Nine," Adkins demanded and sure enough, the 9♣ fell on the river as Adkins jumped out of his chair with an "oh my fuckin god". Both stacks were verified but Gryko was already waiting for the payout runner as he simply said "it happens."
Gryko was eliminated in 15th place for $63,402 while Adkins further extended his lead on the final two tables.
"Queen eight is your hand," Jonathan Bowers in the eight seat said with a smirk on the face.
The fifth level of the day recommences with 14 players out of the 48 hopefuls who returned and upon completion of the next two hour session at the tables, the scheduled 60-minute dinner break will take place.
