Rivera in a River Spot

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Three ways to a flop 64K and Robert Rivera placed a bet of 120,000. Paul Serrate called and Mitchell Tsang folded.

Heads up to the turned 8 and both players tapped the table.

Serrate checked with the A completed the board and Rivera placed a bet of 150,000. Serratecortes went all in.

Rivera went deep into the tank, with less than 500,000, making mention he would only be left with four big blinds if he folded. After some time, he made the call and Serrate tabled the A4 for two pair.

Rivera congratulated his opponents on a good game and showed the A10. Serrate made mention that Rivera was a nice guy and he was sorry to be the one to dispatch him.

Quite the Runout; Full Table Counts

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Gustavo Hoyos was able to get an all in through to take the blinds and showed the KK to show the table he meant business. Just two hands later he went all in and was called by Josiel Dacruz on his direct left.

Gustavo Hoyos: A6
Josiel Dacruz: QJ

In what seemed like a flop made for television, it rolled out AAK, giving Hoyos three of a kind while also giving Dacrus the royal flush draw. With two cards to come, Hoyos was a 2:1 favorite.

The turn peeled the Q and a fate-changing 10 peeled off on the river, causing Dacruz to stand up and clap in triumph as his straight claimed the pot.
