Sykes Drags Healthy Pot with Top Two; Says Hi to His Dad

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With about 160,000 in the middle the flop read 1065, and Mark Sykes bet 45,000 before the button put in a raise to 105,000. Sykes made the call.

The 3 fell on the turn and Sykes check-called another bet of 100,000.

When the 7 completed the board on the river, Sykes checked once more and the button fired 200,000. Sykes thought about it for a couple of seconds before cutting out the chips to call.

The button sighed as they rolled 22 and Sykes raked in the pot with 107, making top two on the river.

"Say hello to my dad," Sykes said to PokerNews.

Medley Approaching the Two Million Chip Mark

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with a board reading A395, David Medley was all in and at risk for 570,000 with roughly 800,000 already in the pot.

His opponent in the cutoff was contemplating his options, saying "I can't beat ace-king," looking for a reaction.

Medley stared down at the table not wanting to give away any free information. After some time, the player in the cutoff called and was shown the bad news.

David Medley: AK All in
Cutoff: AJ

The 6 river card changed nothing and Medley dragged in a nice sized pot
