Sykes Drags Healthy Pot with Top Two; Says Hi to His Dad

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With about 160,000 in the middle the flop read 1065, and Mark Sykes bet 45,000 before the button put in a raise to 105,000. Sykes made the call.

The 3 fell on the turn and Sykes check-called another bet of 100,000.

When the 7 completed the board on the river, Sykes checked once more and the button fired 200,000. Sykes thought about it for a couple of seconds before cutting out the chips to call.

The button sighed as they rolled 22 and Sykes raked in the pot with 107, making top two on the river.

"Say hello to my dad," Sykes said to PokerNews.

Doodson is Still Dapper

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Dylan Doodson was all in preflop and was called by his opponent in the blind.

Dylan Doodson: 66All in
Big Blind: J9

The flop favored Doodson when it rolled 8106 but he wasn't out of the woods, as his opponent had a straight draw. The turned J didn't change much and the rivered 3 was inconsequential. Doodson more than doubled with his set of sixes.

Hu Flops a Set to Crack Kelly's Aces

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Benjamin Hu opened 55,000 in early position and Steven Kelly called next to act before Thomas Carman put in a raise to 210,000 from the small blind. Hu called and Kelly jammed for 320,000. Carman asked if the door was open, but the dealer confirmed it was not as he made the call. Hu called as well.

The K92 flop hit the felt, and Kelly checked to Hu who fired 150,000 into the middle. Kelly tanked for about 30 seconds before mucking his hand. Hu started clapping as he tabled his hand.

Steven Kelly: AA All in
Benjamin Hu: 99

Hu flopped a set of nines to crack the aces of Kelly and the 4 turn and Q river changed nothing.

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Two players build a pot of about 160,000 and Paul Serrate checked-dark before the dealer fanned the 1093 flop. Jon Lehmberg bet 115,000 and Serrate jammed all-in. Lehmberg had about 650,000 and quickly made the call.

Jon Lehmberg: Q10 All in

Same Same

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Steffen Grove went all in on a board reading 843 and Federico Roberto thoughtfully considered before pushing a call forward and putting Grove at risk... in theory.

Steffen Grove: 99All in
Federico Roberto: 99

Both players were quick to pull their chips back, as their were no chances at a flush. The turn and river were inconsequential and the table had a laugh as the tension of a big bet and a call immediately dissipated.
