Hastings Departs From The Field

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Sebastian Pauli raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and on the button, Brian Hastings three-bet to 20,000 which saw Adrian Buckley call from the small blind and Pauli called as well.

Buckley drew one, Pauli drew two and Hastings stood pat. Action checked over to Hastings who bet 40,000, which only Buckley called.

Once more Buckley drew one and Hastings stood pat. Buckley check-called an all-in of 68,000 from Hastings.

The final drawing round saw Buckley draw one, and Hastings stood pat.

Buckley sweat the last card.

"It's a three... sider," he said looking at it. He then turned over a 6x which left him with a seven-six to beat Hasting's eight-six and Buckley raked in the pot, eliminating the six-time WSOP bracelet winner.

Zolotow Breaks Drawing Dead To Fishman

Steve Zolotow opened to 11,000 in the hijack and in the small blind, Ray Fishman three-bet to 24,000 which saw Zolotow move all in for 31,000 and Fishman called.

On the first draw both players drew one.

Zolotow stood pat on the second draw after Fishman drew one.

Fishman stood pat on the final draw, sending Zolotow in the tank and he ended up breaking, flashing a 9x.

"It's a good break," said Fishman "but I've got a wheel."

Moreschi Finds New Life Despite the Free-Roll

Shortly before the hand, Stephen Moreschi told PokerNews, "I won my football bet so I'm already free-rolling."

Travis Pearson opened the hijack to 7,000, and he received calls from Stephen Moreschi in the small blind and Ray Fishman in the big blind.

Moreschi drew two, Fishman drew three, and Pearson drew two. When checked to, Pearson bet 15,000 and only Moreschi called.

On the second draw, Moreschi took one and Pearson took two. Moreschi led all-in for 16,000 and Pearson called.

Moreschi was left with a tough decision but ultimately decided to break his queen. Pearson smiled as he drew two behind.

Moreschi peeled an 8x while Pearson was drawing dead after he revealed an Ax.

"I think this is the most chips I've had all tournament," remarked Moreschi.

Narcis Nedelcu raised to 10,000 from the hijack when a player on the button three-bet all in for 63,000. Alex Foxen in the small blind elected to make the call, and Nedelcu folded.

Alex Foxen stood pat, which then put the all-in player in a tough spot. He showed he had aces, but mucked one of them and drew three cards.

Foxen stood pat with a flush, and it meant the all-in player would have to draw to a higher flush or make a full house. He first turned over the 7 but when he showed that he also drew 5x2x he was eliminated from the tournament.

Rheem KO's Micon

Chino Rheem opened from under the gun. In the big blind, Bryan Micon jammed for 46,000 and Rheem snap-called.

Micon took some time before he decided to draw one.

When it was Rheem's turn to act he admitted, "I don't know what I have," as he sweated his final card. His fifth card was a Kx which he discarded.

Rheem went first out of courtesy to the all-in player and he peeled a 10x to make a ten-seven.

Micon had several outs to survive but he also peeled a 10x to make a worse ten-nine as he hit the rail.
