Danny Tang defended the big blind against a button raise to 1,000,000 by Daniel Perkusic. On the A♠6♠5♠ flop, Tang checked and Perkusic bet 700,000 to force a snap-fold. Right after, the three players headed on a 15-minute break.
Danny Tang limped the button and Jim Collopy checked from the big blind, then check-folded the A♥Q♦3♠ flop to a bet worth 650,000.
Daniel Perkusic raised the next button to 1,000,000 and Tang came along from the big blind. On a flop of J♦10♣7♥, Tang check-called for 700,000 before they checked the A♠ turn and 4♦ river.
"Two pair?!" Tang said in table chat and Perkusic rolled over the A♣A♦J♠6♦ for a set of aces.
"Too much of the board," the German said before stacking up the chips.

A few hands later, Jim Collopy completed his small blind and Tang raised to 1,500,000 in the big blind. Collopy called but instantly check-folded once Tang put in 1,500,000 chips on the A♦6♠10♥ flop.
Jim Collopy raised the button and then folded when Daniel Perkusic three-bet the pot from the big blind.
Danny Tang raised to 1,050,000 on the button and Collopy called from his big blind. On a K♥7♠6♣ flop, Collopy bet the pot for 2,850,000 and Tang folded with the words "where is the king?" as he flashed four broadway cards.
Perkusic min-raised the button to 1,000,000 and Tang came along from the big blind to then check-fold a flop of 7♣6♣4♣ when Perkusic made it 700,000 to go.
Danny Tang limped in on the button, Daniel Perkusic completed his small blind and Jim Collopy, who had lost the majority of pots prior to this hand, checked in the big blind.
Persukic then checked on the 7♦9♥J♥ flop, after which Perkusic bet the pot of 2,000,000, the majority of his stack.
Both Tang and Persukic quickly folded, giving some much-needed chips to Collopy.

Collopy then potted the button to win the blinds, flashing the A♣K♣K♥.
One hand later, Collopy was in the big blind with a stack of around 6,300,000 behind. Perkusic raised the pot out of the small blind and Collopy repotted. "All in, all in," he quickly said once Perkusic piled it in and they flipped them over.

"How do we get kings versus aces, and you even have a three as well," a frustrated Collopy said.
There was no escape for him on the J♦6♠6♣Q♠4♥ runout and Collopy exited in third place for $973,882. Both remaining players now take a quick break prior to the heads-up duel.
Daniel Perkusic limped the button and called a raise to 1,500,000 by Danny Tang as they headed to the 10♦7♠3♣ flop. Tang continued for 2,200,000 and Perkusic called to see the 6♠ on the turn.
The check by Tang prompted a bet worth 4,000,000 by Perkusic and that was enough to take down the pot without any further resistance.
Daniel Perkusic limped in from the button and Danny Tang checked in the big blind. Both players checked through the 7♦5♦4♠ flop before the 3♣ fell on the turn.
Tang checked, Perkusic bet 1,000,000, and Tang called. Tang then led out for 3,500,000 on the 10♦ river. Perkusic used one time bank before tossing in a call.
Tang tabled K♦J♣4♦3♦ for the second nuts and raked in the pot.

Perkusic then opened to 1,500,000 on his next button and Tang defended. Tang check-called the J♦9♠8♣ flop for 1,000,000 and check-folded the 10♠ turn when Perkusic increased his sizing to 4,000,000.

The next hand, Perkusic raised to 1,500,000 on the button and Tang three-bet the pot. Perkusic called and placed a bet of 4,500,000 when Tang checked on the 9♦10♥6♥ flop.
Tang then raised the pot and Perkusic quickly folded as the chip lead shifted to Tang.
