Lonis Back Above Starting
Level 4
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Arriving on a turn of 8♦3♣J♣10♣, Jesse Lonis checked from the big blind to Isaac Kempton in the cutoff. Kempton fired a pot-sized 50,000 chips and Lonis called.
Both players then checked on the 7♦ river, after which Lonis tabled Q♣J♦9♠5♣ for a flush. Kempton mucked his cards and the pot was awarded to Lonis.
"You didn't feel like putting me to the test?" Lonis asked Kempton.
"You didn't strike me as a man who likes folding," Kempton retorted.
Meanwhile, Tomer Daniel took his seat at this table on his second bullet.
