Maksimov Cannot Bluff Jouhkimainen
Level 5
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Three ways to the 8♣3♠2♣J♥ turn, Artem Maksimov bet 8,000 and was called two ways by Joni Jouhkimainen and Jason Mercier. On the 3♥ river, the action checked to Jouhkimainen and he bet 10,000. Mercier folded and Maksimov then used a time bank before raising it up to 35,000.
Jouhkimainen eventually called and was shown the J♠8♦4♣4♥, which he had beat with the A♣A♥Q♥J♥.
"No bluffing with this hat, you told me ..." Jouhkimainen smirked. Maksimov had given the Finn and other players a red "make America great again" hat that all three players involved in the hand are actually wearing.
