Nordkvist Utters His Favorite Word

Level 3 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Koray Turker had raised in middle positon and called the subsequent three-bet from Lars Nodkvist to 7,200.

The 8Q10 flop and 2 turn were checked through before Turker fired 3,600 on the K river.

Nordkvist called verbally and Turker threw his cards into the muck, forfeiting the pot.

"I think that's your favorite word," Turker said to Nordkvist.

Nordkvist agreed at first but later amended that his favorite word is actually "pot."

Steely Wins Healthy Pot Without Showdown

Level 3 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Chase Steely raised from under the gun and earned multiple callers to the AK6 flop. Steely continued for 14,000 and was called by Jonathan Azoulay in the cutoff. Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the button made it 55,000 to go only for Steely to reraise to 150,000.

"How much are you playing?" Azoulay as table chip leader asked. He then used two time banks and folded.

Jachtmann sigh-folded and exposed the KK103 for a set of kings.

"I had a monster, ace queen of clubs, king queen of spades," Azoulay claimed in table chat.

Level 3 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lonis Rebuilding

Level 3 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jesse Lonis, Ronald Keijzer, and Tomas Ribeiro went three-way to a flop of 6210. Lonis piled in 16,000 chips from under the gun, folding out Keijzer in the seat next to him.

Ribeiro made the call on the button, however, and the 5 arrived on the turn. Lonis upped the ante to a pot-sized of 54,000 chips and Ribeiro folded his cards.

The 4 was then picked out of Lonis' hand to show, after which the table agreed to show two cards from winners' hands from thereon out.

Daniel Out In the Very First Hand

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Tomer Daniel

Tomer Daniel had just entered and was in the big blind for his first hand. A larger three-way pot emerged to the Q1064 turn on which he bet the pot for 138,000. David Benyamine folded and Ben Lamb called on the button.

Daniel then jammed the 7 river and Lamb snap-called to first show his 85 for the straight followed by the AK.

Daniel flashed his Q1066 for a flopped set of sixes (and the top two pair on top of it) to bust in the first hand.

"See you soon guys," he grinned and walked out of the tournament area. Not much later, Isaac Haxton took the seat Daniel had previously occupied.
